SUMMERHILL

HALVR used the urban analog method to assess and navigate Atlanta's Summerhill district from a variety of otherwise impossible viewpoints and perspectives; including from the sky overlooking the entire urban area, down to the pedestrian’s experience at the street level. The urban analog's custom data visualization dashboard allowed designers and stakeholders to test alternatives during different times of the day and in varying levels of pedestrian and traffic simulations. HALVR's integrated design-visualization process ensures that the character of new development will complement Summerhill's existing urban fabric; that the designed public spaces will safely filter thousands of stadium visitors during high-activity events; and that the public plaza will remain a memorable and engaging public space during all hours of the day.
